J & J Conversions of Andover are very well recognised in the UK market for manufacturing the highest quality recovery vehicles, with an after sale service which is second to none. They have always been innovative in new ideas and developments, not only in the products they manufacture but also in the services they provide, for example brand new free courtesy vehicles for their customers and a development of the VRS - Vehicle Recovery System and the new ultra light composite car transporter, just to mention a few. This has now been recognised in the world wide market and J & J have supplied vehicles to Europe and now have been responsible for building one of the largest recovery fleets in The Middle East.
		This business was literally started from the sand up including call centres, training facilities for the new patrols, membership and the recovery fleet. Chris stressed that it was the up most importance when choosing a manufacture to build a recovery fleet, the quality and reliability was paramount due to the location and adverse conditions the vehicles would have to work in and Chris said that as far as we were concerned J & J were the only company in the industry that could provide this.	Some of the vehicles that were required were very bespoke, for instance we required some all wheel drive desert recovery vehicles for going off road to recover large 4 wheel drives. These units were based on 16 tonne Renault Midlum crewcabs 4 wheel drives fitted with J& J’s euro tech slidebed with second lift and damage free lifting facility. Managing Director of J & J Conversions, Richard Guy said that we spent a great deal of time with Chris Clibbery and Phil Briggs from CJC Automotive Business Solutions to come up with a fleet of vehicles which would not only cope with the environment they had to work in but would also give Raha the capability of dealing with any situation on road side assistance and in some cases off road assistance.
	Managing Director of CJC Automotive Business Solutions, Chris Clibbery was given the task of setting up a brand new road side assistance operation in Qatar called Raha Auto Assistance.




Raha required a large number of 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinters fitted with internal workshop and spares facility and the latest radio controlled VRS units the vehicle gave them a complete solution for road side assistance Richard stated that Raha was the obvious opportunity to develop the VRS product in an overseas market.	We had to make some small modifications to account for the operation being on the opposite side of the road but it has proved hugely successful. On top of this, we were commissioned to come up with some unique vehicles to cope with any eventuality from recovering vehicles in the desert to picking up Ferrari Enzo’s and delivering high value cars in prestige condition and completely secure. Some of the vehicles supplied were fitted with F1 low approach; uncovered and covered units.	To complete the fleet J & J built a number of 12 tonne Renault Midlum crewcabs fitted with their superb predator aluminium slidebed with second car lift. Raha Auto Assistance are delighted with the end result and they have had lots of interest from neighbouring countries to see how it is done to expand their own road side assist capabilities.	Raha are very proud of their new organisation and fleet and the end result was better than they could ever imagine and have given thanks to Chris and Phil From CJC Automotive Business Solutions and all at J & J for an excellent result. Richard Guy is pleased with the result that this fleet of vehicles has had; it has lead to many enquiries from over seas, not only for vehicles that Raha have purchased but also for J & J’s heavy underlift range which they are now following up.
